Upperline Health is seeking an energetic Patient Care Coordinator to support physicians and care teams in Maryland, serving as the key connector between patients and providers at our clinic.

You will manage front desk duties, check-in, scheduling, EMR data, and help with billing while maintaining privacy and a patient-first mindset. This role may involve travel to nearby clinics as needed to ensure seamless care.

Qualifications

• Front-office or healthcare clinic experience preferred.
• Podiatric/orthopedic practice exposure preferred.
• Medical billing/coding experience highly preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems; athenahealth preferred.
• Strong communication and professional presence.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Patient-first mindset and exceptional customer service.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as front desk representative, answering phones and greeting patients.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient check-in and information collection.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and patient inquiries.
• Maintain on-time clinic flow by notifying providers of arrivals.
• Manage EMR records in athenahealth and protect patient privacy.
• Collect patient payments and assist with billing questions.
• Travel to nearby clinics to provide additional support when required.
