Upperline Health Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support physicians and care teams in delivering an outstanding patient experience.

Based in the Lutherville clinic, this role serves as the essential link between patients and providers, ensuring patients feel welcomed, informed, and prepared for visits. The position emphasizes front-d desk duties, appointment coordination, and accurate record management, with opportunities to grow within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in front-office, customer service, or healthcare clinic roles preferred.
• Prior podiatric or orthopedic practice experience preferred.
• Medical billing and coding experience highly preferred.
• Experience using an EMR system; athenahealth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the front desk representative, answering phones and greeting patients warmly.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient check-in and information collection.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and patient inquiries.
• Maintain on-time clinic flow by notifying providers of patient arrivals.
• Retrieve, scan, update, and maintain patient records in the EMR (athenahealth).
• Collect patient payments and assist with billing-related questions.
• Manage office supply inventory and maintain an organized front office.
• Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Support clinic operations with additional duties as needed.
• Travel to nearby clinics to provide additional support when required.
