Upperline Health seeks an energetic Patient Care Coordinator to support physicians and care teams, delivering an outstanding patient experience at our Baltimore-area clinic. This role connects patients with providers, ensuring a welcoming, informative visit and smooth check-in processes.

The role involves scheduling, billing inquiries, EMR updates, and occasional travel to nearby clinics, with collaboration within an interdisciplinary team and a patient-first approach.

Formación

• Experience in front-office, customer service, or healthcare clinic roles preferred.
• Podiatric or orthopedic practice experience preferred.
• Medical billing and coding experience highly preferred.
• Experience using an EMR system; athenahealth preferred.
• Strong communication skills and professional presence.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the front desk representative, answering phones and greeting patients warmly.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient check-in and information collection.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and patient inquiries.
• Maintain on-time clinic flow by notifying providers of patient arrivals.
• Retrieve, scan, update, and maintain patient records in the EMR (athenahealth).
• Collect patient payments and assist with billing-related questions.
• Manage office supply inventory and maintain an organized front office.
• Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Support clinic operations with additional duties as needed.
• Travel to nearby clinics to provide additional support when required.
