Upperline Health is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support physicians and care teams in delivering an outstanding patient experience. This role is based at the Waycross clinic and connects patients with providers to ensure a welcoming, informed visit.

The ideal candidate has front-office or healthcare clinic experience, strong communication skills, and a patient-first mindset. Travel to nearby clinics may be required; medical billing/coding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front-office, customer service, or healthcare clinic role.
• Medical billing and coding experience highly preferred.
• Experience using an EMR system; athenahealth preferred.
• Strong communication skills and professional presence.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the front desk representative, answering phones and greeting patients warmly.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient check-in and information collection.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and patient inquiries.
• Maintain on-time clinic flow by notifying providers of patient arrivals.
• Retrieve, scan, update, and maintain patient records in the EMR (athenahealth).
• Collect patient payments and assist with billing-related questions.
• Manage office supply inventory and maintain an organized front office.
• Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Support clinic operations with additional duties as needed.
• Travel to nearby clinics to provide additional support when required.
