Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a patient access representative to deliver outstanding front-desk service at our Meriden location. You will warmly greet patients, register arrivals and collect co-payments, ensuring a smooth check-in experience.

Responsibilities include answering calls, scheduling appointments, communicating with patients about preparations, and assisting colleagues across regional offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Positive, customer-focused approach with commitment to patient care.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work in a team.
• Basic working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Willing to travel independently to satellite offices.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and register patients.
• Answer calls promptly, evaluate priority, and direct as appropriate.
• Schedule new patient appointments and inform patients of prep requirements.
• Review daily appointment confirmations for accuracy and communications.
• Collect co-payments and explain billing policies.
• Maintain a clean waiting area and keep materials current.
• Collaborate across regional offices to support patient care.
