Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills for patient contact.
• Experience with medical terminology and patient data handling.
• Comfort with high‑pressure environments and prioritization.
• Preferred experience with IDX/GE Centricity and electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and coordinates patient flow in the practice.
• Registers patients, verifies insurance and collects co-pays.
• Schedules appointments and processes tests and referrals.
• Answers phones, provides triage and routes messages appropriately.
• Updates and scans patient records and maintains accuracy.
• Ensures timely check-out and coding of charges per policy.
• Supports patient experience initiatives and team collaboration.
