Job summary

Sanitas Medical Center seeks a Patient Representative Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will support pre-visit planning, check-in, check-out, and post-visit follow-up while maintaining accurate records and protecting privacy.

You will review schedules, verify eligibility, collect copays, update demographics, and coordinate follow-up communications, ensuring timely service and patient satisfaction in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• 1-3 years in customer-facing roles (hospitality, retail, call center, or healthcare front desk).
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Validate insurance eligibility, verify information, and collect copayments when applicable.
• Perform check-in/check-out processes and ensure accurate records are maintained.
• Coordinate scheduling, post-visit follow-up, and examination of patient needs with care teams.
• Protect patient confidentiality and ensure PHI is secured at all times.
• Respond to patient questions with courteous, clear communication and escalate issues as needed.
