Job summary

Sanitas is seeking a Patient Representative Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at the Palm Beach Medical Center. You will support the patient journey through pre-visit planning, check-in, check-out, and post-visit follow-up while maintaining accurate records and protecting confidentiality.

You will verify insurance eligibility, update demographic information, and coordinate with care teams to ensure timely service, smooth check‑in, and effective communication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in customer-facing roles (healthcare front desk, hospitality, retail, or call center).
• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner and guide them to the right department.
• Perform pre-visit planning, check-in, and check-out processes with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Verify insurance eligibility and PCP information; collect copayments and update patient records in the system.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and document visit details for continuity of care.
• Maintain PHI privacy, log off systems, and comply with regulatory requirements.
