Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in warm, friendly manner and verify demographics.
• Verify insurance and gather/confirm referrals or pre-authorizations.
• Process co-payments and submissions, maintain cash drawer and deposits.
• Answer telephones promptly and route to appropriate person while maintaining confidentiality.
• Schedule new, follow-up or walk-in appointments and manage reminders and no-shows.
• Open, sort and distribute mail and faxes daily per guidelines.
• Print and prepare documents for scanning and ensure HIPAA compliance.
