Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills (word processing and data entry).

• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients and caregivers.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous customer connections with patients over the phone or in person; resolves patient needs related to intake and care.
• Documents all phone calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedules patient appointments for visits, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Registers patients by confirming and updating demographic data in the registration system.
• Obtains copies of insurance cards, IDs, and signatures; may verify COB and prior authorizations.
