Intermountain Health seeks a Patient Service Representative to be the first connection for patients, delivering superior customer service and resolving intake-related needs. You will greet, verify information, and assist with scheduling and registration in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities include documenting calls in EMR, handling payments, and guiding patients through forms and financial assistance while upholding privacy and PHI protection guidelines.

Competenze

• Six months of customer service experience involving interactions with customers.
• Basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and colleagues to deliver high customer/patient satisfaction.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI.

Mansioni

• Provide courteous professional connections with patients over the phone, in person or via secure messaging.
• Document all calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedule patient appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Register patients by confirming and updating demographic data in the registration system.
• Obtain insurance cards, IDs, signatures; verify insurance coordination of benefits and pre-certifications.
• Assist patients in completing forms and educate on financial assistance; proactively request payments.
• Stay current on duties by reviewing communications and dashboards to ensure high performance.
