Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous connections with patients over the phone, in person or via secure messaging.
• Documents all phone calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedules patient appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Registers patients by confirming and updating demographic data in the registration system.
• Obtains copies of insurance cards, IDs, and signatures; may verify information for CO­B and pre-certification.
• Assists patients in completing forms for regulatory and billing needs; educates on financial assistance; collects payments.
• Maintains current knowledge of responsibilities by reviewing communications and dashboard information.
