Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Patient Service Representative at the River Road Clinic in St George, Utah.

You will be the first connection for patients, greeting them, checking in/out, verifying information, and guiding them through intake and scheduling processes. You will document calls in the EMR, schedule appointments, collect and verify insurance information, assist with patient forms, and educate patients about billing and financial assistance.

Formación

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and caregivers.

Responsabilidades

• Provides courteous and professional connections with patients over the phone, in person or via secure messaging.
• Documents all interactions in the EMR.
• Schedules patient appointments for visits, procedures, diagnostic tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Registers patients by updating demographic data in the registration system and verifies information.
• Assists patients with forms for regulatory and billing needs and educates on financial assistance.
