Intermountain Health Saint George Regional Hospital is seeking a Patient Service Representative to serve as the first contact for patients. You will greet, register, schedule visits, verify demographics, and assist with insurance and billing needs to ensure a smooth patient experience.

This role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and ability to work collaboratively with care teams to deliver outstanding service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI of patients, members, and caregivers.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist patients; answer calls and provide service.
• Schedule appointments and manage registrations.
• Enter and verify patient demographics in the EMR.
• Assist with insurance information and billing forms.
• Educate patients on financial assistance and collect payments.
• Document all interactions in the EMR accurately.
