Job summary

Sanitas is seeking a Patient Representative Coordinator to welcome patients, manage pre-visit planning, check-in/out, and follow-up. The role ensures accurate records, protects confidentiality, and supports a smooth patient journey within the Medical Center.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years in customer-facing settings, strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities, and comfort with scheduling systems and payments. Flexibility for rotating shifts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing experience in healthcare or service roles.
• Ability to handle scheduling, check-in/out, payments.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Must maintain confidentiality and privacy.
• Familiarity with scheduling systems and office software.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and direct them appropriately.
• Perform check-in/out, verify appointments, collect copayments.
• Validate insurance eligibility and update patient info.
• Monitor schedules to minimize wait times and improve flow.
• Protect PHI and maintain confidentiality according to privacy rules.
• Handle post-visit follow-ups and patient inquiries.
