Sanitas Medical Center in Florida is seeking an energetic Patient Representative Coordinator to greet patients, verify insurance, and guide them through pre-visit planning. You will manage check-in/out, collect copays, and coordinate with care teams to ensure accurate records and a smooth patient journey.

The role requires strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with attention to privacy and PHI protection.

Formación

• 1–3 years in customer-facing roles (hospitality, retail, call center, or healthcare front desk).
• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with scheduling, check-in/out, payments, or reservations.
• Comfortable handling escalations with professionalism.
• Ability to perform duties accurately while protecting patient privacy and PHI.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist with pre-visit planning, verify insurance eligibility, and update patient information.
• Perform check-in and check-out processes; collect copayments and pending balances.
• Validate pharmacy information and designated PCP to support continuity of care.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and print necessary orders as requested.
• Maintain confidential medical records and ensure PHI is protected.
• Respond to patient inquiries and coordinate with staff to resolve issues.
• Support center operations and participate in staff meetings.
