Job summary

Providence Health & Services - OREGON is seeking an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, in person or by phone, and to act as a liaison between patients and care teams throughout the administrative flow of the patient experience.

This entry-level role supports routine front and back-office duties to ensure smooth clinic operations in Primary and Specialty Care clinics across the Portland metro area.

Qualifications

• 6 months of Customer service related experience.
• 6 months of Office experience, preferably in a medical office.
• 6 months of Electronic Medical Record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors in person and by phone.
• Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to ensure a smooth patient experience.
• Perform front and back-office duties, including scheduling, registration, insurance verification, updating demographic information and patient support.
• Maintain clinic efficiency through accurate documentation and adherence to workflows within the electronic medical record (EPIC).
• Demonstrate growth and proficiency in supporting Providence's mission of compassionate, high-quality care.
