Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment for patients as they enter our clinics. You will greet patients, assist with forms, collect co-pays, and update records in the electronic medical system.

This role supports our Service Team and reports to the Practice Manager. You will manage phone lines, answer inquiries, and coordinate scheduling while maintaining a welcoming, flexible approach for a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette is required.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests
• Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with required forms
• Collecting co-pays
• Updating patient information and making changes in electronic medical records
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments
• Managing phone lines and outbound calls
• Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform
• Maintaining cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas
• May be required to float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis
• Other duties as assigned
