Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment for every patient and to make a positive first impression. You will be the face of the clinic, handling check-in, forms, co-pays, and basic EMR updates to keep operations smooth.

As part of the Service Team, you will answer calls, schedule appointments, maintain clean Welcome and Community Room areas, and may travel to other centers in the region.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve (where necessary)
• US work authorization

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests and conducting visit check-in
• Collecting co-pays and updating patient information in electronic medical record platform
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments within EMR system
• Managing phone lines, messages, and outbound calls
• Handling faxes and mail distribution
• Maintaining the cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas
• May float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis
• Other duties as assigned
