Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment for patients and guests. You will be the face of the clinic, handling check-ins, forms, co-pays, and EMR updates while coordinating scheduling and front-desk duties.

The role requires strong computer skills, Google Suite proficiency, professional phone etiquette, and US work authorization. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are valued in our diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• US work authorization.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with required forms.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Updating patient information in the electronic medical record platform.
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments in the electronic medical records platform.
• Managing phone lines by answering, taking messages, and outbound calls as instructed.
• Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis.
• Other duties as assigned
