Job summary

Oak Street Health in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to greet patients, support front desk operations, and smooth clinic workflows. You’ll handle check-in, forms, patient communications, and basic administrative tasks to help our teams deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate has strong computer skills, uses Google Suite, excellent phone etiquette, and some college or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by communities served.
• US work authorization.
• Experience in customer service is a plus.
• Some college education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with required forms.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Updating patient information in the electronic medical record.
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments in the electronic medical records platform.
• Managing phone lines and outbound calls as instructed.
• Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis.
• Other duties as assigned.
