Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment for patients, greet guests, and manage front-desk operations. You will handle check-ins, forms, co-pays, and EMR updates while supporting a seamless patient experience across centers.

The role requires excellent phone etiquette, basic Google Suite skills, and a willingness to float to other centers. Some college is preferred, and U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with required forms.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Updating patient information and making changes in electronic medical record platform.
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments within electronic medical records platform.
• Managing phone lines and outbound calls as instructed.
• Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May be required to float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis.
• Other duties as assigned.
