Job summary

CommonSpirit Medical Group - Family Medicine - Ringgold is seeking a Clinic Receptionist to serve as the welcoming heart of the clinic, ensuring a calm and efficient patient journey from check-in to discharge.

You will manage reception duties, handle scheduling and insurance data, and use EMR systems to maintain accurate records, while delivering compassionate, patient-centered service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required at hire.
• One year of health care experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients at visit time and complete necessary paperwork for admitting and compliance.
• Answer and direct phone calls to proper departments.
• Schedule appointments following office guidelines.
• Obtain accurate patient and insurance information, collect copays and deductibles.
• Scan/copy patient-related materials into the EMR.
• Prepare charts for appointments with all required information.
