Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment for patients and guests. You will handle check-ins, forms, co-pays, and updates in the EMR, while coordinating appointments and phone calls to ensure a seamless patient experience.

As part of the Service Team, you will support operations across centers and uphold the welcoming, high‑touch care Oak Street is known for, including flexibility to float to nearby centers as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Google Suite.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by communities we serve.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Conducting visit check-in and assisting patients with required forms.
• Collecting co-pays.
• Updating patient information and making changes in electronic medical record platform.
• Scheduling/rescheduling appointments within electronic medical records platform.
• Managing phone lines by answering, taking messages, and conducting outbound calls.
• Managing faxes in the electronic fax platform.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas.
• May be required to float to other centers in the region on an infrequent basis.
