Job summary

Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center is seeking a Guest Services Representative (PRN) to greet patients and visitors at the main entrance, provide directions, and support hospital operations with a professional, compassionate approach.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years of healthcare customer service experience, and a valid state driver’s license for valet coverage. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–2 years of healthcare customer service experience.
• Valid state driver’s license for valet coverage.
• Strong communication, de-escalation, problem solving, and teamwork.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and typing.
• Notary public preferred or willing to become one.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial welcoming presence at the hospital main entrance
• Welcome and assist patients, families, and visitors with professionalism and empathy
• Provide directions and communicate current hospital policies clearly and courteously
• Monitor visitor control and maintain oversight of assigned areas to ensure safety and security
• Respond quickly and effectively to guest concerns, providing immediate service recovery when needed
• Perform clerical and administrative tasks to support hospital operations
• Maintain a strong understanding of hospital services and facility resources to guide guests confidently
