Boston Medical Center seeks a Patient Experience Ambassador to ensure exceptional care for patients, families, staff and visitors. You will proactively check in on patients, triage needs, and support care teams with hospitality, compassion and de-escalation.

The role emphasizes listening, problem solving, and collaboration with physicians, social work, dietary, housekeeping and other services to enhance the patient experience across the hospital.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree preferred or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Two to four years of customer service experience, with at least 2 years in the healthcare industry.
• Bilingual abilities in language services and strong problem solving and leadership skills.

Aufgaben

• Systematically rounds daily on inpatients and other patients as directed.
• Acts as liaison between patients, families, visitors and staff for hospital experiences.
• Provides resources and coordination with physicians, staff, social work, dietary, housekeeping and other services.
• Listens to inquiries, requests and complaints and resolves issues promptly.
• Manages patient feedback and leads service recovery when needed.
• Maintains knowledge of BMC layout, services, and systems to answer questions.
• Shares feedback trends with staff and leadership to identify improvements.
• Presents patient experience information during daily huddles and reviews scores with leadership.
• Collaborates with staff to implement short-term interventions and long-term solutions.
• Mentors colleagues in hospitality culture and experience elevation.
