Job summary

Oak Street Health in Aurora, IL is seeking a Welcome Coordinator to create an inclusive environment for patients and to deliver a high-touch patient experience. You will act as the face of the clinic, handling scheduling, check-in, forms, and communications to support smooth center operations.

The role reports to the Practice Manager and is part of the Service Team. Strong computer skills, bilingual abilities where needed, and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with Google Suite.
• Fluency in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by the communities we serve.
• US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests.
• Check-in patients and assist with required forms.
• Collect co-pays and update patient information in the EMR.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments in the EMR.
• Answer and route phone calls and manage faxes in the EMR.
• Maintain cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas.
