Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Patient Services Advocate II to warmly welcome patients at the front desk and support a smooth, patient-centered experience in our Los Angeles clinic.

You will help manage expectations, coordinate with the care team, and demonstrate compassionate communication. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of customer service experience, and preferred bilingual abilities in English, Spanish, Mandarin or Cantonese.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a customer service agent, greeter, or receptionist preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese strongly preferred.
• Valid BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in person to create a positive front office experience.
• As a member of the health care team, communicate clearly and resolve patient questions and concerns.
• Manage expectations and coordinate with clinical staff to support patient flow.
