Freeman Health System is seeking a Receptionist to deliver a positive patient experience by scheduling appointments, answering calls, and assisting with patient registrations.

You will greet visitors, verify eligibility, collect payments, and use medical office software to coordinate scheduling and registrations, all while maintaining HIPAA-compliant processes and supporting a safe healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Greet all customers, patients, vendors, and other visitors to the facility.
• Answer patient questions and aid and directions when necessary.
• Register patients and ensure documentation and forms are compliant with state and federal regulatory activities, including HIPAA.
• Collect payments and print receipts for patients.
• Count and balance cash drawer.
• Utilize medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for patients.
• Verify eligibility.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
