Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Patient Services Representative for our Stevensville, MI location. You will greet patients, assist with registration, scheduling, and clerical tasks, and ensure accurate demographic and insurance details are captured. Documentation in the EHR and basic EMR scanning are part of the role.

You will work 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., contributing to safe, efficient patient care and coordination across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering patient-focused service in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for greeting patients and directing them.
• Ability to manage front-desk tasks and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors as a concierge, delivering friendly, helpful service.
• Perform clerical tasks including phone duties, scheduling, mail handling and supply ordering.
• Register patients, verify demographics and insurance, and schedule onward or follow-up appointments.
• Document patient interactions in the EHR and route calls as needed for resolution.
• Support safety initiatives and advise on timely completion of required competencies.
