Job summary

Allina Health United Medical Specialties Clinic in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Clinic Business Representative to greet patients, perform registration, and support scheduling and payment processes. You will work 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday, with no weekends, in a fast-paced clinic environment.

You will use EPIC and In-Basket tools to manage appointments, requests, and medical records, while delivering outstanding customer service to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of computer knowledge including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook).
• 2+ years of customer service, clerical, or business environment experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Greets, welcomes, and registers patients in person or by phone during appointments.
• Collects demographic and insurance information; processes payments and co-pays.
• Handles telephone encounters and responds to scheduling or records requests within Epic/In-Basket workflows.
• Manages release of information requests and basic medical records support tasks.
• Maintains lobby organization, handles communications, and supports other clinic operations as needed.
