Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Clinic Business Representative Associate in Shakopee, MN. You will greet patients in person or by phone, collect demographic and insurance data, and enter information into the electronic medical record to ensure a smooth registration.

You’ll support the front desk with scheduling, financial discussions, and basic patient communications while upholding a welcoming, patient-centered experience throughout the care journey.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
• Minimum 1 year computer knowledge

Responsibilities

• Greets, welcomes, and performs the registration process with patients in person or by phone
• Interviews patients to collect demographic and insurance information, providing patients with appointment specific forms
• Collects co-pays and/or remaining balances
• Responds to questions regarding financial assistance programs
• Performs the End of Day reconciliation process
