Job summary

Stanton Optical, part of Now Optics, seeks a Doctor’s Technician to greet patients, gather information, and support both retail and clinical teams. You will assist with eye exams-related pre-tests, answer inquiries, and help ensure a smooth patient experience from entry to service completion.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of customer service experience, strong communication, and a collaborative spirit. Dental/medical benefits and employee discounts are offered in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, rapport-building and empathy for patients.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers on entry, identify needs and present products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule appointments and collect patient history and information in the system.
• Support management with patient inquiries and complaints and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain brand standards in-store and assist with simple repairs and lens edging as needed.
