You will welcome patients, verify registration and insurance, schedule and manage appointments, answer phones, and assist with MyChart and communications. Based in Livonia, MI, with day‑one benefits and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Billing 101 completed.
• Course work in insurance/billing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex billing issues.
• Create and administer Reception schedules.
• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion.
• Check patients in and verify registration and insurance information.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and route messages.
• Collect payments and support accurate billing processes.
• Assist with patient communications, paperwork, and MyChart support.
• Maintain patient records and support day-to-day office operations.
• Partner with providers and clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.
• Oversees daily work queues.
• Serve as Collections Advocate.
• Handle moderate billing issues with patients.
