Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team in a fast-paced healthcare office. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a welcoming, efficient experience for patients and visitors.

Responsibilities include checking in patients, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, answering calls, handling billing support, and assisting with paperwork and MyChart.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or valid work permit for ages 15-17) preferred.
• 1–2 years' experience in medical/physician office or customer service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion.
• Check patients in and verify registration and insurance information.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
• Collect payments and support accurate billing processes.
• Assist with patient communications, paperwork, and MyChart support.
• Maintain patient records and support day-to-day office operations.
• Partner with providers and clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.
