Integrity Care Group in Papillion, NE seeks a Patient Service Specialist to manage front desk, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and maintain patient data accuracy. The role focuses on privacy, friendly greetings, and efficient patient flow in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities include data entry, insurance verification, scheduling referrals, and contributing to a safe, compliant environment. Prior medical office experience preferred; BLS certification may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
• Current certification in BLS must be obtained and maintained.
• 1–3 years of medical office experience is preferred.
• Understanding of medical coding and billing.
• Knowledge of state/federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, and blood-borne pathogens.
• Proficient with common PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate new and current provider staff.

Responsabilités

• Greets patients in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner and informs patients of delays.
• Obtains registration data, insurance information, and photo ID at each encounter.
• Enter patient data accurately into the computer system.
• Verifies insurance, and collects co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Balances daily charges and safeguards money received.
• Manage patient charts, referrals, and share information with other medical entities as needed.
• Assist in scheduling and following up on provider referrals.
• Keep lobby clean and stocked with necessary items.
