Job summary

Integrity Care Group is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front desk activities, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and maintain patient data integrity. The role requires excellent customer service, HIPAA compliance, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, obtaining registrations, entering data, and coordinating referrals while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a current BLS certification.
• 1–3 years medical office experience preferred.
• Understanding of medical coding and billing; knowledge of OSHA/HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in a polite, prompt and helpful manner and informs them of delays.
• Obtains registration data, insurance information, and photo ID at each encounter.
• Enter and update patient data in the system; verify insurance and collect co-pays as required.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA; handle records with initiative and integrity.
• Balance daily charges and safeguard money received; manage referrals when needed.
• Support lobby operations; assist staff and schedule provider referrals when requested.
