Job summary

Integrity Care Group is seeking a patient service specialist to manage front desk operations, greet patients, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and ensure data integrity. The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, confidentiality, and excellent customer service in a fast-paced medical office.

You will input registration data, schedule referrals, and support staff while maintaining lobby cleanliness and a smooth patient flow. Prior medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Greet patients in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner and provide excellent service.
• Understand and perform insurance verification and collect co-pays when required.
• Enter and maintain patient data accurately in the computer system.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of patient and staff information.
• Assist in scheduling and following up on provider referrals.
• Balance daily charges and safeguard money received.
• Assist in lobby maintenance and support staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients politely and inform about delays or wait times.
• Obtain registration data and insurance information at each encounter.
• Enter patient data into the system accurately and promptly.
• Verify insurance, collect co-pays/deductibles as applicable.
• Uphold HIPAA and confidentiality across activities.
• Balance daily charges and safeguard funds.
• Support referrals and coordinate with providers as needed.
• Keep lobby clean and assist others as a team.
