Job summary

Integrity Care Group is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front desk operations, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and maintain patient data integrity. You will greet patients, register information, and support scheduling and referrals in a fast-paced medical office.

The role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and strong confidentiality practices in line with HIPAA guidelines. This is an as-needed position, with no set hours or schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a current certification in BLS.
• 1-3 years of prior medical office experience preferred.
• Understanding of medical coding and billing; HIPAA compliant.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients politely and ensures smooth lobby flow.
• Obtains registration data, insurance information, and photo ID.
• Enters patient data into the computer system accurately.
• Verifies insurance and collects co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles.
• Follows HIPAA guidelines and maintains confidentiality of patient and staff information.
• Balances daily charges and safeguards funds.
• Manages patient charts and schedules referrals as needed.
• Assists staff and coordinates provider referrals.
