Integrity Care Group is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to handle front office duties, greet patients, verify insurance, and ensure data integrity. The role emphasizes patient confidentiality, accurate data entry, and effective communication with providers and staff.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an Associates degree, and 1–3 years of medical office experience.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a current certification in BLS.
• 1-3 years medical office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, blood-borne pathogens, and other regulations.
• Proficient with common PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of medical coding and billing.
• Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate new and current provider staff.

Aufgaben

• Greets patients and manages front desk; informs patients about delays and time to be seen.
• Verifies insurance and collects co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles.
• Enters patient data into the computer system quickly and accurately.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient and staff information.
• Balances daily charges and safeguards money received.
• Manages patient charts and coordinates referrals when needed.
