Job summary

Ankle & Foot Centers of America is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support clinic operations and deliver exceptional patient experiences. You will handle check-in/out, appointment scheduling, payments, information entry, and phone support in a professional office setting.

Key requirements include a high school diploma and 2–4 years in healthcare, with strong communication, HIPAA awareness, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two to four years of experience in healthcare.
• Experience in front desk or patient services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally.
• Enter and update patient demographics.
• Complete insurance verifications for all patients.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills over the telephone and in-person.
• Create correspondences, reports, memos and forms as requested by physicians/administration.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and referrals.
• Check patients in and out in a timely and professional manner.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and balances for services at check-in.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service in all interactions.
• Maintain front desk and waiting area; keep it clean and organized.
• Print and file new patient documents as needed.
• Submit accurate End-of-Day procedures.
