Job summary

Ankle- Foot Centers of America in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Front Desk Patient Service Representative. The role handles patient check-in/out, insurance verifications, payments, appointment scheduling and phone duties with a focus on service quality.

Requirements include a High School diploma and 2–4 years in healthcare preferred; must be comfortable with EMR/EHR documentation and maintain HIPAA compliance. Full-time, flexible daytime schedule; travel is not a primary duty.

Qualifications

• Must have Front Desk comfort with EMR/EHR documentation.
• Preferred health care industry experience (2–4 years).
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a smile and professional demeanor.
• Check in/out patients and verify demographics and insurance.
• Process payments, co-pays and balances at check-in.
• Schedule appointments and manage referrals with physicians.
• Answer phones and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain front desk area and assist with daily clerical tasks.
