Job summary

The Ankle & Foot Centers of America is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support front desk operations, check patients in and out, and ensure accurate information across systems. You will handle payments, schedule appointments, and answer phones while delivering professional, respectful service.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent and 2–4 years of healthcare experience. The role requires strong communication, teamwork and computer skills in a fast-paced clinic

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two to four years of experience in health care preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
  • Ability to handle payments and billing tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors professionally.
  • Enter and update patient demographics as needed.
  • Complete insurance verifications for all patients.
  • Exhibit effective communication over the telephone and in person.
  • Schedule appointments and manage referrals information.
  • Check patients in and out in a timely, professional manner.
  • Collect co-payments, deductibles, and balances for services at check-in.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service in all interactions.
  • Maintain front desk and waiting area neat and organized.
