Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and completing check-in and checkout.
• Scheduling appointments, confirming visits, and following up on cancellations and missed appointments.
• Answering phones, documenting messages, and routing clinical requests to the appropriate staff.
• Verifying insurance information and providing referral requirements.
• Collecting authorized copayments and payments.
• Managing forms, faxes, scanning, medical records; assisting patients with prior authorizations to access medications and imaging.
