Job summary

Towne Park seeks a friendly Greeter Service Ambassador to welcome patients and assist with inquiries, directions, and initial questions about services. The role requires accurate data entry into the hospital system and strict adherence to patient privacy under HIPAA. Computer skills and calm, professional interaction are essential.

The position may involve shifts during evenings and weekends, with an emphasis on courteous patient interactions and efficient service delivery in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18+ and able to pass background and drug screen.
• Work Experience: 1-3 months related experience or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge: Equipment includes telephones, codes/alarms, two-way radios, disaster phone, fire panel and surveillance system.
• Skills: Strong communication, data entry, and basic computer typing; ability to prioritize tasks and maintain HIPAA privacy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor with guests, patients, co-workers and clients.
• Assist visitors with directions and inquiries; respond to emergencies on a priority basis.
• Enter patient information into the hospital database accurately and protect privacy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, follow sanitation guidelines.
• Report accidents to the Manager and follow disaster codes and procedures.
• Transport patients via wheelchair within the facility.
• Total time allocated to all functions should equal 100%.
