Summit Health Management in Purchase, NY is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, manage registration, payments, and scheduling while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires strong communication and multitasking within a medical office environment.

Responsibilities include processing insurance verifications, updating patient records in EHR/PM systems, and supporting billing processes.

Competenze

High School Graduate or GED required.
Associate degree preferred.
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Must have the ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner.
Knowledge of medical office terminology preferred.
Basic proficiency in computer use required.

Mansioni

Greet visitors, patients and families professionally and direct to appropriate staff.
Maintain efficient patient flow during registration and provide excellent service to patients and families.
Answer calls promptly, direct calls appropriately, take accurate messages and route them.
Inform patients of delays and assist with patient comfort.
Post self-pay charges, collect payments, and provide receipts; reconcile daily payments.
