Optum is seeking a Patient Check-In Representative to greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and ensure complete registrations. The role supports a medical team and requires attention to detail in Epic workflows and cash handling.

The position is based at Concord, MA with standard Monday–Friday hours 8am–5pm EST and potential travel for coverage or training. A patient-focused mindset and accuracy are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer-facing experience.
• Experience with health care check-in or registration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally and perform health screenings.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information in the system.
• Collect payments and process co-pays and balances.
• Ensure forms are completed and signed for compliance or billing purposes.
• Support cash handling processes and daily reconciliations.
• Coordinate referrals and enter referral information when needed.
