Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to deliver exceptional patient service and support the clinical-to-retail flow. You will assist with pre-testing, digital refraction, contact lens care, and ensure high-quality standards under PEG supervision.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer-facing roles, strong communication, and comfort with technology. Optical experience is a plus; the team takes pride in a friendly, efficient patient experience and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or certified program completion required.
• 2+ years of customer service experience delivering outstanding service to patients/customers.
• Able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Passion for customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Proactive problem solving to address patient concerns.
• Driven by results with ability to multitask and adapt to changing business needs.
• Scheduling flexibility based on business needs; comfortable with technology and digital tools.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding patient experience and collaborate with team to meet store goals.
• Greet patients, identify needs, and explain products and services clearly.
• Answer inquiries and collect information to ensure a positive experience.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Assist with patient complaint resolution and track status of orders.
• Maintain patient records confidentially in accordance with HIPAA.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
