Required are a high school diploma or GED, completion of a listed certification within six months, and Basic Life Support. The role emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and adherence to policies and ethics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Within first six months, complete one of CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA certifications or EMT license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Complete pre-employment competency exam.
• Strong computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient patient flow through the site and assist with examinations.
• Take accurate vital signs and document visit reason, allergies, and medications.
• Assist MD/APP with procedures and enter prescriptions as directed.
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and maintain equipment per protocol.
• Engage with patients in a professional, caring manner and support team coordination.
