Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to enhance the patient experience at our Stanton Optical in-store location. You will be the first touchpoint in-store, delivering exceptional customer service and promoting available products and services while coordinating with the clinical and retail teams.

The role requires strong communication, at least 1 year of customer service experience, and an associate degree or higher.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
• Strong communication with a diverse group of people.
• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Schedule flexibility; work hours determined by business needs.
• Knowledgeable about Microsoft Suite 365.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to facilitate sales.
• Promote products and services and answer inquiries while gathering information for sales.
• Foster partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and track pending orders.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and secure handling of information.
• Assist in lab tasks such as lens edging and assembly to expedite delivery of eyeglasses.
• Ensure brand standards and notify management of issues in the lab area.
